I was asked by the team at Buster Ink to create a chalkboard doodle on their office wall, and let me just say this was one of the best projects of all time! Everyone in the office had ideas and special requests (including the phrase "Design Cool Sh*t"); I did my best to add tiny details for everyone to enjoy. The flying tacos were the best, but the goat in the tree is pretty special too. Thanks for the awesome project Buster Ink!

For this project, I was asked to create a number of posters and commercial set pieces (which can be viewed in the Design section) and one six-foot mural for a Thai Boxing gym set in Brazil. I created this digital painting using Corel Painter, and I have to give an extra thanks to Neal Burstyn for his amazing photography and for granting me the license to use his photo for reference.

I was asked by the team at Buster Ink to create some hand-lettered treatments to be used in the concept phase for the show Any Given Wednesday with Bill Simmons. We wanted a rough typographic treatment with lots of doodles and dingbats.

I was asked by the team at Buster Ink to create a couple of hand-lettered treatments to be used in the concept phase for the show Jagger Eaton's Mega Life. My job was to do some doodles and type (resembling doodles on a notebook) around where the main character would be for the poster concept.

This project was for a collection of three illustrated fashion posters that would be displayed in a mall for a commercial set. I decided to go for something bold and simple with a nod toward classic fashion illustration and the silhouetted modern style to highlight the type of product being advertised.

I was asked by the team at Buster Ink to create a couple of hand-lettered treatments to be used in the concept phase for the show Outsiders. I was asked to make my type look like the ink was bleeding into liquid.

I am often asked by production companies to create designs and illustrations that will act as set pieces for commercials. For this particular illustration, I needed to create a bicycle poster that had a hand-crafted, playful feel. I decided to do this one by hand using ink and watercolor.

For this production project, I was asked to design mock band posters and festival passes to be used as set pieces for a Chevrolet commercial. The commercial was set around a music festival in Austin, Texas. It was fun coming up with fake band names and and the best design to suit a country-blues style.

When I got the call from Buster Ink to work on a hand-lettered comp for the final season of HBO's True Blood, I had what my father calls a full-blown happy attack. In production work, we have dozens of designers working through different concepts for an ad. This comp was really intended as a poster for the fans. It never made the final cut, but I don't care; I am still proud to have worked on it!
